Whatsoever

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 21, 2026

This policy describes how Whatsoever LLC (“Whatsoever,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use our websites, web applications, browser extensions, and other software or services we offer now or later under the Whatsoever name (together, the “Services”).

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

  • Account and identity. Name, email address, authentication identifiers, organization or workspace membership, and similar details when you create or sign in to an account.
  • Workspace content. Information you create or submit in the Services, such as projects, briefs, ideas, notes, ratings, tags, and shared summaries.
  • Payment information. Billing details processed by our payment providers when you subscribe or make a purchase. We do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Usage and device data. How you use the Services (for example page views and product events), plus approximate technical information such as browser type.
  • Communications. Email or other contact details if you subscribe to updates or write to us.
  • Content you send from clients. If you use a browser extension or similar client, information you choose to send — for example text you select or submit so we can save it to a project — along with credentials needed to authenticate your account.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Services
  • Authenticate accounts and keep the Services secure
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Respond to you and send service-related messages
  • Understand how the Services are used so we can fix issues and improve them
  • Comply with law and protect our rights

We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information from the Services for unrelated advertising.

How we share information

We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf to operate the Services. That includes providers of hosting, authentication, payments, analytics, email, artificial intelligence, and search or lookup features. They are allowed to use the information only to provide those services to us.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect the Services or our users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or similar transaction. Workspace content may be visible to people you invite to a project or organization, or to anyone you share a summary link with.

Browser extensions and other clients

Some Services are delivered as browser extensions or other client software. These clients act when you use them — they are not meant to collect your browsing history in the background.

When you invoke an extension or similar client, it may read content from the page or selection you are working with and send that content to our Services so we can do what you asked (for example, saving a name into a project). It may also use your Whatsoever account to authenticate. We use that information as described in this policy.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services, including while your account is active, and as reasonably necessary for legal, security, and operational purposes. You can ask us to delete your account or personal information as described below.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The Services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your choices

You may access, update, or request deletion of personal information associated with your account by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including the right to know what we collect and to ask that we not sell or share personal information (we do not sell it). To make a request, email david@hazeltine.co.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top is the source of truth. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
